TERMS OF SERVICE

1. What RIHeatingCo Is

RIHeatingCo is a referral coordination service operated by RIHeatingCo LLC. We connect Rhode Island homeowners with heating contractors who represent themselves as licensed and insured. RIHeatingCo does not perform heating installations, repairs, or any heating work. We are not a contractor.
 

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or submitting a request through any form on this site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use this site.
 

3. How the Service Works

When you submit a request through this site, your information is shared with one or more contractors in our network. Those contractors may contact you to discuss your project and provide estimates. Contractors pay RIHeatingCo a referral fee when a job is closed through this site. This fee is paid by the contractor, not the homeowner.
 

4. Competitive Bid Requests

If you opt into the competitive bid process, your project details and photos will be shared simultaneously with two or more contractors in our network. Each contractor will submit a written estimate. RIHeatingCo will present all quotes received to you without editing or withholding any submission. Your contact information will not be released to contractors until you have selected a quote. The quote you select is final — no renegotiation outside this platform.
 

5. No Warranty or Guarantee

RIHeatingCo makes no representations or warranties regarding the quality, safety, licensing status, or workmanship of any contractor in our network. Contractors in our network represent to RIHeatingCo that they are appropriately licensed and insured. RIHeatingCo does not supervise, direct, or control contractor operations or the work they perform.
 

Licensing requirements vary depending on a contractor's state of registration, business structure, and the nature of the work performed. RIHeatingCo does not independently verify contractor licensing status and makes no guarantee that any contractor in our network holds a current Rhode Island contractor registration. Homeowners are solely responsible for verifying that any contractor they select holds all licenses, registrations, and insurance required by Rhode Island law before authorizing any work to begin. RIHeatingCo is not responsible for determining whether a contractor's out-of-state license, employee license, or subcontractor arrangement satisfies applicable Rhode Island licensing requirements for any specific job.
 

6. Contractor Independence

Contractors in our network are independent businesses. They set their own prices, employ their own workers, and are solely responsible for the work they perform and any agreements they enter into with homeowners. RIHeatingCo is not a party to any agreement between you and a contractor.
 

7. Disputes

Any disputes regarding work performed, pricing, or job outcomes are between you and the contractor directly. RIHeatingCo is not responsible for resolving disputes between homeowners and contractors. RIHeatingCo does not handle payments between homeowners and contractors. Never pay a contractor through RIHeatingCo.
 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RIHeatingCo's liability to you for any claim arising from use of this site or our referral service is limited to the amount you paid to RIHeatingCo, if any. RIHeatingCo is not liable for contractor workmanship, job outcomes, property damage, personal injury, or any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages of any kind.
 

9. How We Use Your Information

Information you submit through this site is used to connect you with contractors and facilitate your project request. We do not sell your information to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
 

10. Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate information when submitting a request through this site. RIHeatingCo is not responsible for outcomes resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information you provide.
 

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this site including text, images, and page structure is the property of RIHeatingCo LLC. You may not reproduce or repurpose any content from this site without written permission.
 

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
 

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of this site shall be resolved in the courts of Rhode Island.
